You know that feeling when you discover a new show and realise all the episodes are available and you can watch it in one sitting? Yeah, it’s the best. This is what people are doing with Netflix’s new series, Pact of Silence, which some X (formerly Twitter) users are saying they binge watched in one sitting.
The 18-part series from Mexico centres on an influencer named Brenda (Camila Valero) and her newfound fame. The official Netflix description reads: “Brenda is a successful influencer - but that wasn’t always the case. When her biological mother abandoned her at birth, she had to grow up fast and fend for herself on the mean streets of the city. Now she’s on a mission to find out who left her for dead. What she knows: The headmistress of the school where her bio mom went to once helped a group of teens get rid of a baby. So Brenda’s tracking them down, one by one, to exact her revenge.” Dun dun dun.
The show is technically a telenovela, basically a Latin American soap opera, and fans cannot get enough of it - with some even saying they are watching the whole thing in one day.
“Pact of silence before bed lol I love me some soap opera' and 'I binge-watched this in ONE day. So many plot twists!” one person wrote on X.
Another added: “Pact of silence on Netflix so mf good. I finished it all in 2 days.” While a third said: “So I’m watching Pact Of Silence and it’s about these 4 girls who get rid of a baby. The baby grows up & seeks revenge against the 4 women to figure out which one is her mama. I have been stuck to my TV.”
Others are calling for the show to “never end” and that the drama in Mexican shows are “top tier”.

It’s about time we had something new and exciting to watch too - especially after the news this week that we shouldn’t expect season three for both The White Lotus and Euphoria to drop before 2025. Y’know, like a whole 14 months away at least. *scream*
